I

I thought it would be appropriate to start this thread so that we can share our experieces in the learning of the game.

This thread should be limited to discussions of suspected bugs and to clarify the rules of the game.

I will start off with a couple of things that I have noticed.

1. When building a unit it always shows the time required for it to be built. As GB I have built priateers and first line warships. The privateers were supposed to take over 180 days to complete and the first line warships were to take over 300 days. In each case they were complete within 3 turns. This seems to be a bug.

2. In one naval battle the combat screen indicated that I lost 3 ships. However when I reviewed the stack elements it showed that all the ships were still there altough one was very severly damaged. I brought the fleet back to port for repair and found that the entire fleet was back to full health in 1 turn. This looks like a bug.

3. In the detailed combat screen there is a scroll bar in the middle of the display so that you can see units that do not show up in the initial, view. This does not work for me.

4. I have noticed that if I have a causis belli against another country and do not act on it I am charged victory points. Right now I have a casuis belli against France. How can I act on that when I am at war with France already?

has anyone observed the same things or have an explanation?
